
Another cracker from Tom May, 2 year velvet weight of 10.43kg and winner of the EWSNZ 2 year old velvet competition.
One of the bigger elk heads this year 2021. This bull cut 27.72 and 4.6 kg of regrowth
Interestingly this bull is ready to velvet now in mid September so he started growing velvet in the later part of winter.
Sadly we advised that Society founding member Jack Pullar recently passed away. His contributions to the establishment and long term viability of wapiti farming in New Zealand will live on. R.I.P Jack
